About

I've run businesses in Jackson, Wyoming for twelve years. Teton Backcountry Rentals is the one you'd walk into, and I still run it. Bear Aware, a bear spray rental business, I bought off-market with no broker.

I spent fifteen months trying to sell the rental shop, with a broker and without one. It didn't sell. That stretch is why BizTender exists. My co-founder Tom O'Loughlin and I build software that lets an owner do what the broker was supposed to do, on their own time and with their own numbers.

This site is the other half of that. Some owners want a person in the room. Five at a time, I'm that person.
